After taking control of the Blue Wren Restaurant originally located in the now Wisteria Hall, Chef's Kitchen has been one of evolution.

Without having preconceived ideas or standards, the Chef's Kitchen came about as an educational tool to show our guests what kind of work and the process is in serving food.

Converting the existing wine storage cellar as well as many, many alterations, Chef's Kitchen uses cutting edge technology and modern gastronomic cooking techniques.

With several natural evolution points, this allow us to provide our guests with the highest quality meals, as well as the opportunity to interact with the kitchen as well.

Stop by at Blue Wren & take some time to relax over a light lunch. Offering a great accompaniment to your Flight of Wine, our share plates start at $12. You may also wish to enjoy with a bottle of our award winning wines amongst friends.

CHEFS KITCHEN | TERMS + CONDITIONS

Due to the limited seating and a very small team, we advise the following booking and cancellation policy:

  • For tables of one to six diners; credit card details are required to secure you booking. No charge is made prior to your visit; however 48 hours’ notice of cancellation, reduction in numbers of or change of date is required in order to avoid a cancellation fee of $90 per person.

  • For tables of six or more diners; a $500 deposit is required on booking. Deposits are refundable, less a $25 administration fee only for cancellations or changes of date made with at least 28 days’ notice. Any reduction in numbers within this period will incur a $90 charge per person. Please note, the minimum charge for this table is six diners.

    Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of your booking. Dietary requirements not advised prior to your visit may not be able to be accommodated. To request changes to an existing reservation, please contact the restaurant at least 48 hours prior to your visit.

    Older children are encouraged and welcome to Chef’s Kitchen though we do not permit children under five years of age. Children of this age can have a huge effect on other guests’ dining experience and in turn affect the restaurant environment and disturb our service. This is not fitting for you or any of our valued guests. The layout of our restaurant also means we do not have the space to accommodate prams and push chairs, nor do we we supply highchairs. Children are the responsibility of their guardians at all times and we respectfully ask that they remain quietly seated whilst dining.
